This design honors Juneteenth, the day enslaved African Americans in Texas finally learned of their freedom on June 19, 1865—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
The panther symbolizes strength, resilience, courage, and the unbreakable spirit of a people who refused to be defined by their chains. "Unchained Since 1865" is more than a statement—it's a celebration of freedom, perseverance, culture, and progress.
